We’re a leading interior and flooring service provider, proudly serving Houston metropolitan and the surrounding areas for over 45 years.

M. Elaine Kidd founded MEK Interiors & Floors LLC. In 1974.

MEK Interiors & Floors LLC is a woman-owned business enterprise by Elaine Kidd and Cynthia Schofield. We are an ISNetworld Certified Vendor, Certified Women's Business Enterprise, and Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) certified. We're a proud member of the Associated General Contractors of America and Associated Builders and Contractors.

We specialize in sales and installation of flooring, wall treatments, counter tops, interior finishes, and more.

We have completed various high-profile jobs such as the Cosmopolitan, Empire, Manhattan, Diamond Beach High-rises, etc. We have also completed The Buckingham, Gleannloch, Solana Retirement Communities, several locations of Kelsey Seybold, St. Hope Foundation, etc. We also currently service Second Baptist Church (all 6 campuses), the Houston Police Department, multiple educational facilities such as Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas A&M Prairie View, Humble HS, Kipp Journey Collegiate HS, CISD, HISD K-12, etc. We also have ongoing projects with Perry's Restaurants, Taco Cabana, the City of Houston, and more.

We are a Houston-based company and we do work all over Texas.
